On a cool, Autumn afternoon we walked the trails of Oden State Fish Hatchery in northern Michigan. The water was so clear that the trout could be seen right from the trail and the trees were in the peak of their colors.  This hatchery has been active since 1920 replenishing fish communities that are released into our rivers, lakes, and streams.
